Accessibility in Schools
In the past schools were not built with accessibility in mind for those students with access challenges. Increasingly, projects are being completed at schools around Aotearoa enabling all students access to every area of the school. Creating accessible bathrooms and providing ramps, handrails and visual modifications are a few examples of how a school can become more accessible for all students.
